Losing 0-3 to them at our UEFA CATEGORY FOUR WORLD-ACCLAIMED ICONIC STADIUM on a Wednesday night in the League Cup in September whilst a gang of hooded Druids in HOTPANTS wanked-off furiously in the stands laughing themselves into a camp frenzy.

They went out of existence through bankruptcy (which forced the sale and partial demolition of the ground), but reformed some years later, playing somewhere else (in Bradford) and at a much lower level than City. Not sure if they show any sign of climbing the leagues to get back.

For three seasons, interrupted by WWI, there was a top-flight Bradford derby.

Do they still exist or is just a one club city now.

Rumford - I paid a visit to Park Avenue about ten years after Bradford PA finished playing there.

The grass on the pitch remained a respectable green, although it was about a yard high. There was an impressive lack of other plants on the pitch, although there was more than a few on the terraces.

Re: Your memories of Accrington?
Went passed their old ground years ago on the way to Burnley by train .It was sad to see the ground overgrown and derelict They dropped in to non league for a number of years.
Still its good to see a famous old club doing better these days.

Brett ORMEROD

Due to a TOP LEVEL CONNECTION, I've got an invite to sit with the Accrington directors on Wednesday night and shake my head disapprovingly at any of you mugs not sitting down in your seats.
